About
Behind the name LAESSIG around singer-songwriter Marco Lässig from Möhlin are 6 musicians from the Basel and Zurich area. Together they bring a breath of fresh air to the music scene and inspire with their passion for honest, handmade sound. 2021 was the turning point for Marco: he felt it was time to take the next step. With a lot of passion and the determination to tell his own stories, he decided to record his own album - self-produced and made with heart and soul. His own song material was already available, and together with band colleague Daniel Zimmermann, the search for suitable musicians began. The contacts were activated, and so they met in a rehearsal studio on Langstrasse in Zurich. The first meeting was more than just musical - it clicked on a personal level, which inspired the collaboration right from the start. The result of this creative journey is the debut album "MILES AWAY", which was released at the end of 2022. Since then, LAESSIG has been on the road not only in the studio but also live on stage, inspiring audiences with energetic concerts and an authentic performance. With further singles and the second album “STORY TO TELL”, released in 2024, the band has cemented its place in the music scene and tells its stories in an unmistakable way.
