Alternative Pop-Rock at its finest!
The band, centered around the charismatic singer-songwriter Marco Lässig, was founded in 2021. With the goal of eventually recording their own songs, they just couldn’t seem to make much progress in their makeshift studio. They lacked the right sound, a real band, and a professional studio. The existing song material was simply too good, so they decided to completely reboot the project and tackle it properly. Together with Daniel Zimmermann, they set out to find the right musicians and soon found what they were looking for.
What began as a personal turning point became a shared journey: in the rehearsal space on Zurich’s Langstrasse, they immediately “clicked,” both musically and personally. A creative group emerged that harmonizes on both a personal and musical level, resulting in a superbly assembled, professional lineup for the band.
In 2022, the band released its first self-produced debut album
“MILES AWAY,” which immediately achieved airplay success. In 2024, the second album, “STORY TO TELL,” followed, further refining the band’s distinctive sound and also earning airplay with several tracks

Although LAESSIG has only been performing together since 2021, the group has quickly made a name for itself on the Swiss music scene and is now considered one of the most exciting newcomers in the pop-rock genre.
